“Joe’s fantastic. I appreciate him, just from the time that I got here, reaching out,” the Patriots coach said before practice Wednesday.
Looking from the outside, it’s easy to categorize Mazzulla and Vrabel as very different coaches. Mazzulla is a quirky NBA coach. Vrabel is a classic fiery NFL coach. However, Vrabel said he’s drawn a lot of wisdom from his Celtics counterpart.
