Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who got engaged on November 22, made their first public appearance together since the engagement on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday night. During the interview, Fallon congratulated Steinfeld and brought up the city of Buffalo, where Steinfeld has been warmly embraced since her relationship with Allen became public.
Steinfeld shared her admiration for the city, saying, “I’ve been given a very warm welcome. The people are incredible, it’s such a wonderful place, I love it so much.”
While both Allen and Steinfeld have been busy with their careers, they’ve continued to make waves in their respective fields. Steinfeld stars in the upcoming film Sinners with Michael B. Jordan, set for release on April 18. Meanwhile, Allen finished the season after leading the Bills to the AFC Championship Game and earning the NFL MVP award. Steinfeld was present at the NFL Honors when Allen received the prestigious honor, where he thanked her in his speech: “You’ve been my rock. You are my best friend. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”
The couple’s wedding date was reportedly revealed by Allen’s teammate, Dion Dawkins, during a live interview. The big day is set for May 31 this year.
