Auburn Tigers Secure Commitments from Two Additional Top Recruits for 2025 Basketball Class
The Auburn Tigers men’s basketball program has bolstered its 2025 recruiting class with the commitments of two highly regarded prospects: four-star forward Sebastian Williams-Adams and four-star guard Kaden Magwood. These additions elevate Auburn’s class to 18th nationally and 4th in the SEC, according to One’s industry rankings.
Sebastian Williams-Adams: Versatile Forward from Houston
Standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing 225 pounds, Williams-Adams is a dynamic forward from Houston, Texas. Ranked as the No. 45 overall prospect and No. 12 at his position nationally, he chose Auburn over offers from Purdue, Oklahoma State, and Vanderbilt.
Known for his athleticism and defensive prowess, Williams-Adams is expected to make an immediate impact in the frontcourt. His commitment reflects Auburn’s continued success in attracting top-tier talent under head coach Bruce Pearl.
Kaden Magwood: Sharpshooting Guard from Charlotte
Magwood, a 6-foot-1 guard from Charlotte, North Carolina, is recognized for his scoring ability and perimeter shooting. Ranked No. 44 nationally, he committed to Auburn over Ole Miss and NC State.
His addition addresses Auburn’s need for backcourt depth and offensive versatility, particularly with the departure of key players from the previous season.
Strategic Recruiting Amidst Roster Changes
These commitments come at a pivotal time as Auburn navigates roster transitions following a Final Four appearance. The program has been proactive in recruiting to maintain its competitive edge in the SEC.
With the inclusion of Williams-Adams and Magwood, Auburn’s 2025 class now features a blend of size, skill, and athleticism, positioning the Tigers for continued success in the upcoming seasons.
