In a shocking motive: head Coach Is gone

A devastating fire engulfed the iconic Christmas Mouse store in Nags Head, North Carolina, on April 12, 2019. The two-alarm blaze began around 2:15 p.m. in an outdoor area used to store cardboard boxes at the rear of the building. Despite swift action by firefighters, the fire rapidly spread, destroying much of the 8,000-square-foot store and damaging a nearby utility tower and pine thicket. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and investigators found no evidence of foul play.

Established in 1987, the Christmas Mouse was a cherished destination for holiday enthusiasts, featuring nine rooms upstairs and four sections downstairs filled with Christmas trees, wreaths, and other décor.

 

Determined to rebuild, the store’s owners announced plans to reconstruct the beloved shop. In the interim, a temporary location was opened at the Outer Banks Mall in Nags Head to continue serving customers.

 

The fire’s impact was deeply felt by the community, with many locals expressing their sorrow over the loss of this holiday tradition. The Christmas Mouse remains a symbol of resilience and festive spirit in the Outer Banks
