After much reflection and heartfelt consideration, I have decided to step down as head coach, bringing to a close an incredible chapter not only for myself but for this remarkable team. The past seasons have been filled with unforgettable moments—impressive victories, record-breaking achievements, and the unwavering support of our passionate fans. Together, we’ve built a legacy rooted in resilience, teamwork, and dedication.
My decision to leave wasn’t made lightly. I was pleaded for an extension by club management and fans alike, but I believe that change is essential for growth—both for the team and myself. This era has been about more than just wins; it’s been about fostering a culture of perseverance and unity. I am proud of how far we’ve come, and I am confident that the Eels are on the cusp of even greater success under new leadership.
I want to sincerely thank the players, staff, and especially the fans for their unwavering support. Your passion and energy have been the driving force behind every achievement.
