BREAKING ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ACCEPT

After deep reflection and extensive deliberation, we have an important update to share with all our fans, followers, and the global heavy metal community. Accept will be returning to its traditional two-guitarist lineup, a decision rooted purely in logistical challenges that have developed over time. As a result, we are parting ways with our longtime bandmate, brother, and fellow metal warrior, German guitarist Uwe Lulis.

Let us be absolutely clear: this decision was not based on any personal or musical disagreements whatsoever. In fact, quite the opposite is true. Uwe and Accept are parting on the very best of terms. We remain close friends, brothers-in-arms, and proud comrades who have shared some of the most incredible moments of our lives together on stages all over the world.

Uwe joined Accept in 2015 and has since played an integral role in shaping the bandโ€™s modern sound. With his fierce guitar tone, relentless energy, and deep understanding of heavy metalโ€™s legacy, Uwe helped us forge a new chapter in the Accept story. Over the last decade, we’ve played to thousands of fans across continents, recorded crushing albums, and carried the banner of metal high and proud in countries far and wide.

From the thunderous riffs to the unforgettable solos, Uweโ€™s contribution to Acceptโ€™s legacy cannot be overstated. He stepped in at a crucial moment in the bandโ€™s history, when we needed someone not only with skill, but with soul โ€” someone who understood what Accept stood for and had the fire to keep the flame alive. Uwe did just that, and more. He became a brother.

We will forever honor the memories weโ€™ve built together โ€” from sweating it out in rehearsal rooms to headlining massive festivals and arenas filled with the roar of diehard metal fans. There is a bond forged on stage that is unlike any other, and we are proud to say that Uwe will always be part of the Accept family.

Behind the scenes, however, ongoing logistical challenges began to affect our ability to move forward as smoothly as we would like. Touring schedules, travel demands, and various other practical considerations began to stack up. After carefully examining all aspects of the situation, we reached a mutual understanding that it would be best for Accept to return to its classic two-guitar lineup moving forward.

This is not a decision we made lightly. It came after months of discussions, weighing every angle and possibility. But ultimately, the spirit of Accept has always been rooted in precision, professionalism, and putting the music and the fans first. To keep delivering at the level we demand of ourselves โ€” and that our fans deserve โ€” we felt this was the best course of action.

To Uwe: Thank you. Thank you for the years of dedication, your immense musicality, and your brotherhood. We shared stages, studios, buses, laughter, and a deep love for this music that connects us. Weโ€™ll always look back on our time together with pride and gratitude.

We also want to shine a spotlight on Uwe’s ongoing work as a metal producer and his own band, the Uwe Lulis Project. Uwe has long had a passion for crafting and producing music, and now heโ€™s focusing his energy and creativity into his own musical vision. We encourage all of our fans to support his journey โ€” check out his work, follow his project, and keep an eye on what heโ€™s doing next. Great things lie ahead for him, and we will be watching and cheering him on from the sidelines like true brothers.

In Accept, weโ€™ve always believed in evolution while staying true to our roots. Our decision to return to a two-guitar lineup reflects our commitment to the sound and structure that shaped the classic Accept feel โ€” a tried-and-true formula that continues to resonate with fans worldwide. As we enter this new chapter, we do so with gratitude for the past and excitement for the future.

To our fans: thank you for being with us through every era, every change, and every record. Your loyalty is what drives us to keep pushing forward, to keep delivering the metal you love. We donโ€™t take a single one of you for granted. The road ahead is full of energy, new music, and explosive shows โ€” and we canโ€™t wait to bring it all to you.

Stay tuned for more announcements as we continue building the future of Accept. We’re not slowing down โ€” in fact, we’re just getting started on the next phase of this incredible journey.

Once more, we raise our horns in honor of Uwe Lulis โ€” a phenomenal guitarist, a great friend, and a true Metal Brother.

Metal on,
ACCEPT
