Garoppolo is currently facing a two-game suspension for breaking the league’s rules regarding performance-enhancing substances.

According to reports, the agreement is for a single year.

In his debut season as the starting quarterback for the Raiders in 2023, Garoppolo had a forgettable season due to frequent injuries and just six game starts. In the end, Aidan O’Connell, a rookie quarterback, started to bench him.

This offseason, the Raiders cut loose Jimmy Garoppolo, who was the backup quarterback to eventual Hall of Famer Tom Brady during his two Super Bowl victories with the New England Patriots.

In the 2021 season, Garoppolo started for the San Francisco 49ers as they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV.

After beginning his NFL career with the Giants, Odell Beckham Jr. might just end up playing for the other New York team.

Rich Cimini of ESPN reported Sunday that the multi-time All-Pro receiver Beckham is a name to “keep an eye on” for the New York Jets. Cimini also mentioned fellow veteran Mike Williams as a wideout who will visit with the Jets in the coming week.

The Baltimore Ravens recently dismissed 31-year-old Beckham a few days ago. Although he is clearly past his prime at this time, he nevertheless played a respectable part in the Ravens’ 14-game campaign last year, hauling in 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

For Beckham, who was so close to signing with the Jets last summer before deciding to join with Baltimore, the Jets’ connections are somewhat reminiscent. Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Jets, is a renowned fan of his, and he might still make sense in New York with receivers Randall Cobb, Corey Davis, and (probably) Allen Lazard out of the picture.
