Huntley, a backup out of Utah, has played every minute of his four-year career in Baltimore. Since joining the league in 2020, he has made 20 appearances in games.

He passed for 1,957 yards and eight touchdowns against seven interceptions in those 20 games. In 2021, Huntley had his most productive season as a quarterback. He started four out of seven games and threw for 1,081 yards and three touchdowns

Huntley has actually made two starts against the Browns during his career, both starts nearly one year apart to the day. In 2021, Huntley led the Ravens into Cleveland in a game that the Browns were able to eek out a 24-22 victory, in large part thanks to a Myles Garrett strip-sack touchdown against Huntley.

370 days later he again led the Ravens into Cleveland for a Saturday Night Game under the lights at Browns Stadium. That contest was a sloppy and snowy matchup as the Browns snuck out another victory over Huntley.

As things currently stand the Browns are set to open up spring workouts with a quarterback room that features Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston, Dorian Thompson-Robinson and now Huntley. Over the years Andrew Berry prioritized building a QB room with a number of arms and encouraging competition.

It’s almost a guarantee that Watson and Winston will be part of the 53-man roster come September, In recent years Berry has had a propensity to deal an arm before the start of the regular season. It remains to be seen whether or not he’ll exercise a similar aggressiveness this summer.

Either way, Huntley is a nice addition for the Browns to further bolster their QB room.
