SO SAD: The dolla cowboys are crying a lot right now because of…

Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys is 1-3 in his four career postseason appearances.

Prescott hasn’t played well in the playoffs, with the exception of his lone two-point victory over the Seahawks in the 2018 Wild Card Round.

Although some may contend that Prescott’s previous teams had the necessary skill or were not yet prepared to win in the postseason, three playoff defeats are starting to make Prescott a common denominator.

The Cowboys fell by seven points against the San Francisco 49ers despite Prescott managing just 254 passing yards and one touchdown against an interception in a year where the team finished as the league’s best offence in the regular season. In comparison, Prescott averaged 278 throwing yards per game.

One argument, originating from the embattled coach Mike McCarthy, is that perhaps Cowboys were “nervous”?

Prescott is still a good quarterback and his career is unlikely to end anytime soon, despite his playoff struggles, but it’s unclear if he has reached a plateau.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones gushes about Dak being “Super,” adding, “I start right there with a big circle and a big plus (for the Cowboys’) future: Dak Prescott.” However, Jones isn’t ready to heap praise on his coaching staff.

We’ll disagree: Although he’s at the height of his abilities, he still has to make one more move to make his legacy resemble Troy Aikman’s rather than Tony Romo’s.
