NOW OFFICIAL: Done Deal!!! Kansas State Strikes Gold, Land Explosive Playmaking OL To Replace Devin Vass

Kansas State head coach Collin Klein has been extremely active in the transfer portal, securing commitments from nearly 30 incoming players this month alone. The Wildcats added two more transfers over the weekend, bringing their total to 26 newcomers in the current portal cycle. Both of the latest additions are expected to bolster the offense.

One of those additions is Tyler Johnson, a 6-foot-6, 304-pound sophomore offensive lineman from Auburn, who committed to K-State on Sunday. Johnson spent the past three seasons with the Tigers, gradually increasing his role. As a freshman, he appeared in three games while preserving his redshirt. In his second year, he played in all 12 games and earned his first collegiate start against Alabama A&M. Last season, Johnson once again appeared in every game for Auburn, though much of his playing time came on special teams. He now heads to Manhattan seeking a larger role in the offensive line rotation.

Kansas State also landed Brandon White, a 5-foot-8, 170-pound junior wide receiver from Hawaii. Known for his speed and quickness, White hauled in 38 receptions for 399 yards and two touchdowns during his lone season with the Rainbow Warriors. Prior to that, he began his college career at Kentucky, where he saw limited on-field opportunities.
