DONE DEAL ,THE TENNIS SENATOR HAVE SIGNED M.SALAH THIS MORNING TO BE…..

Among the most decorated champions in sports is Agassi. He is one of eight players to have achieved a lifetime Grand Slam, which is the exceptional feat of winning in each of the four majors. He has won eight Grand Slams in singles. He also took home a gold medal from the Summer Olympics in 1996 in singles.

Agassi has hardly played on the tennis circuit since quitting the game, but he did teach the current World No. 1 Novak Djokovic for a short while in 2017 and participated in a few tennis exhibitions for philanthropic purposes. He oversees a few business endeavours in addition to being an active philanthropist through his foundation.

He was invited to the Australian Open this year, and shortly before Novak Djokovic’s opening-round match against Dino Prizmic, he had the privilege of displaying the men’s and women’s trophies alongside Ashleigh Barty.

However, as team captain, the legendary American will now need to dedicate himself to the Laver Cup dugout. Reliable tennis reporter Craig Shapiro tweeted on X that he has been told by sources that Agassi’s new post is merely awaiting an announcement.

Shapiro did not say whose team he would be captaining or when it would occur. However, because to his nationality, it seems he will take over as Team World’s coach. John McEnroe, another American star, has led the team since the Laver Cup’s inception in 2017.

Prior to this final meeting, the two had faced off nine times in ATP Tour-caliber matches, and their past encounters are rather fascinating. Sinner won the next three bouts after the Russian won the first six.

So, going into the championship match, the Italian had every right to be confident. However, Medvedev put out the fire immediately, breaking the 22-year-old’s service in the third game and taking an early one-break lead in the opening set.

After then, Medvedev added one more break to clinch the opening set 6-3 and establish the tone for the decisive game. Having competed in the Rod Laver Arena finals against Rafael Nadal in 2022 and Novak Djokovic in 2021, the Russian has significantly more experience there.

The 27-year-old was once again the better player in the second set, up 5-0 and serving to win the set, but his opponent’s late surge almost produced a stunning comeback, as Sinner saved one break and had another break point.
