Pittsburgh — Prior to their game on Saturday, the Steelers will unveil a new jersey display in honour of the late great running back Franco Harris, the team said on Wednesday.
Before the team kicks off against the Buffalo Bills at 6:30 p.m., there will be a special ceremony in the FedEx Great Hall at 5 p.m. The Ticketmaster B Gate allows fans to enter the stadium early and to the area where the event will take place.
The game’s honorary captains will be Franco Harris’s son and wife, Dan and Dok Harris. This event will take place in conjunction with several events, such as postgame fireworks and other festivities marking the Steelers’ opening home game of the season.
