Current Walsall Head Coach Mat Sadler has had a whirlwind few days of changes to his backroom staff. Following the previously reported departure of his assistant, the club was quick to appoint former Wolves boss Terry Connor as Interim Assistant Head Coach on Friday.
However, just as that transition was underway, it was officially announced that Walsall Academy Manager Rob Williams is set to leave the club later this month for an unexpected opportunity. Williams has overseen the development of a number of young players who have recently made their first-team debuts.
