The Super Bowl, the Hall of Fame vote, and the NFL annual awards ceremony are just a few of the significant NFL events that have taken place during the last week.
Cleveland Browns EDGE was one of the more noteworthy subjects or lessons learned from the biggest weekend in football. OLB T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated Myles Garrett to earn NFL Defensive Player of the Year, even though Watt had superior stats in almost all significant statistical categories.
After the announcement of the award, older brother J.J. Watt, a former DE for the Arizona Cardinals and three-time winner of the same honour, maintained his impartiality.
When Watt was questioned about the honour again during his Wednesday appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, he was able to joke about a little.

Pittsburgh Outside linebacker T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers declined to attend the NFL Honours event after finding out he would not win defensive player of the year for the previous year. However, his remarkable year and 19 sacks made him the lone defender with a chance to win an even greater honour this year.
Watt is one of two defenders on the list of dozens of candidates that were revealed when the opening odds for the 2024 NFL MVP were lowered.
The only other defensive players with MVP odds are Watt and Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys, who both have a 250/1 chance to win. This previous season, both players were contenders for Defensive Player of the Year; Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns took first place, and Watt came in second and Parsons third.
