A top player has re-signed with the Broncos, extending his contract by two years to the conclusion of 2027.
As the first female Game Development Officer for the Broncos, Jillaroo, 26, has been a fixture with the Brisbane club since her debut in 2018. She is also assuming a new position in this capacity.
Robinson is now the Bronco with the longest contract, having represented the Maroons four times. Her goal is to return the NRLW championship trophy to Brisbane for the first time since 2020.
“I’m so excited, I’ve always wanted to be a one club person and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the Broncos for all of my rugby league career,” said Robinson.
“I hope to bring home the trophy for Brisbane, reach the grand final once more, and win a few more Premierships.”
Mahalia Murphy, a dual international, has decided to sign a two-year contract extension with the Eels. Murphy received the NRLW Coaches Award for the club during her rugby league comeback season last year. She was named to the Women’s Indigenous All Stars team this week.
For the 2024 and 2025 NRLW seasons, the Sharks have signed New Zealand rugby union forward Pia Tapsell.
The 25-year-old, who made six Test appearances for the Black Ferns in 2019, becomes the newest cross-code convert to join the Cronulla club.
Resuming play this year following an ACL injury, Tapsell will play in the Super W for Perth’s Western Force in the early going before switching to rugby in time for the NRLW season to begin in July.

The announcement follows the Sharks’ earlier announcement of the re-signing of New Zealand internationals Annessa Biddle and Brooke Anderson, as well as second-rowers Chloe Saunders and Rhiannon Byers, all on two-year contracts.
Four players from their initial NRLW squad have extended their tenure with the Cowboys.
China Polata, a former wings player who is now a middle striker, and half Krystal Blackwell have re-signed for two seasons through 2025. In addition, the club has activated the one-year options of fullback Fran Goldthorp and half Tahlulah Tillett for 2024.
Head of NRLW and ladies’s Elite Pathways for the Cowboys, Anita Creenaune, stated, “These four women played hugely important roles both on the pitch and building culture for our first ever NRLW squad.”
Harata Butler, a forward from the Māori All Stars, was also signed by the Cowboys for the NRL Telstra Women’s Premiership seasons of 2024 and 2025.
In her first NRLW season last year, Butler made eight appearances for the Sharks, averaging 63 metres in the front row.
After wing Jakiya Whitfeld was acquired from the Wests Tigers, the 31-year-old is the second new player the Cowboys have confirmed for the 2024 campaign.
Teenage enforcer Rilee Jorgensen has been re-signed by the Titans for a further three years, guaranteeing her stay on the Gold Coast until at least the end of 2026.
Jorgensen, a U-19 Queensland representative, earned eight appearances in 2023 following a standout performance in her Round 2 debut against Brisbane.
Karyn Murphy, the coach of the Titans, expressed her satisfaction with Jorgensen’s long-term commitment to the team.
After Jessika Elliston and Shannon Mato both recommitted until the end of 2027, Jorgensen is the third forward for the Titans to stay on the Gold Coast until at least 2026.
For the forthcoming season, the Gold Coast has also promoted developing players Matekino Grey, Lily Kolc, and Malaela Sua to the top 24 roster.
Sheridan Gallagher, a winger who helped the Knights win a premiership, has signed a new contract with them for two more years, guaranteeing her stay with the team through at least the end of 2025.
After making a smooth transition from professional soccer, Gallagher had a standout debut season in the NRLW, recording seven tries in 11 games.
