A player from Canadian wide receiver with the Cleveland Browns, was discharged from the hospital following a head injury in….

Elijah Moore of the Browns was released from the hospital following a head injury sustained against the Jets.

There were less than two minutes left in the second quarter when Jets linebacker CJ Mosley hit Moore, sending his head hurtling to the ground.

The receiver for the Browns lay down following the collision and finally made his way to the locker room accompanied by trainers.

Elijah Moore, a wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns, was injured in the head during Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets. He was later released from the hospital.

Moore, according to Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, is “doing better” and is presently undergoing the concussion protocol.

Before leaving the game, Moore had five receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Over his professional career, Moore has experienced head injuries on multiple occasions. In Week 3 of his rookie 2021 season, the three-season NFL player was hit in the head, which resulted in a concussion that kept him out of the game that following.

Moore’s field goal Thursday scored with just over six minutes left in the half after receiving an eight-yard throw from Flacco.

Four minutes into the game, Moore had just caught another throw from Flacco on a second-and-seven when the damaging collision happened.

Following Moore’s injury and a Cleveland timeout, the Browns continued the drive with a touchdown from Flacco to running back Jerome Ford, which was good for fifty yards.

Moore has not played against his old team since being traded to the Browns in March, thus this was his first encounter.

Moore has now developed into one of the Browns’ main targets this year. With 579 receiving yards going into Thursday night’s game, he was third in Cleveland just behind Amari Cooper and David Njoku.

The Browns will meet the Cincinnati Bengals on January 7 after a nine-day hiatus.

2023 Browns injury report: Deshaun Watson and Nick Chubb lead Cleveland’s list of injuries that might halt the season

But the Browns are doing well on the pitch. And they’re doing it in rather challenging conditions. Much of the 2023 season has seen Cleveland without some of its greatest players.

I think Kevin Stefanski is a magician.

At least, that is how it feels. Throughout the 2023 season, injuries have decimated the Browns coaching staff. And yet, with two games remaining, Cleveland is firmly established in a postseason spot.

Since the 41-year-old’s arrival in 2020, Stefanski’s time under the 216 sun (smog?) hasn’t exactly gone as planned. After three seasons under Stefanski, the Browns have yet to make it to the postseason in two of those years. Before signing Deshaun Watson to a fully guaranteed deal, they publicly courted him despite multiple claims of sexual misbehaviour, which infuriated many onlookers.

Still, Stefanski and company continue to triumph. With wins over the 49ers and Ravens already this season, it’s difficult to overlook the amount of play Stefanski is getting out of his mismatched playthings.

Despite the absence of several of their finest players, the Browns are close to making the playoffs. Even after Watson, Nick Chubb, or Grant Delpit suffered (normal) season-ending injuries, they didn’t lose a beat.

So, as we approach the end of the season, here’s what you need to know about Cleveland’s injured reserve list.

2024 Browns injury report.

With significantly fewer than a full roster, the Browns take on the Jets on Thursday night. Long-term injuries will prevent Watson (shoulder), Chubb (knee), Delpit (groyne), and Ogbo Okoronkwo (pectoral) from participating in the combat. After being caught in a crunching tackle in Week 2, Chubb was the first to go down, tearing his meniscus, MCL, and medial capsule.

After breaking a bone in his shoulder during Cleveland’s historic Week 10 comeback against Baltimore, Watson was subsequently declared out.

Delpit and Okoronkwo were admitted to the clinic due to illnesses they suffered earlier in December.

But they’re not the only ones. Famous actor Dustin Hopkins has also withdrawn from the celebration due to a groyne injury. Punter Corey Bojorquez, who was listed as doubtful due to a quad injury, could accompany him on the sidelines.

By this time of year, everybody has something to cope with. As seen by their official injury report, which lists 21 players with various ailments, the Browns are not an exception. Among them are starters Amari Cooper (heel), Myles Garrett (shoulder), Kareem Hunt (groyne), David Njoku (knee), and Joe Flacco (calf).

Four of the five players mentioned above, along with the vast majority of players on Cleveland’s injury report, participated in practice on Tuesday in some capacity. Cooper is the exception; he was deemed questionable for Thursday night’s game after missing the first two days of practice.

However, if past performance is any guide, the Browns will still win even without him.
