Dominguez acknowledged that beforNicolas Doe to join Nottingham Forest this summer, he “waited” for AC Milan. On the day of the transfer deadline, the Argentine came at the City Ground from Bologna, an Italian Serie A team.

Now that Dominguez has played four games for Steve Cooper’s team, he has had an outstanding start to life at the City Ground. The 25-year-old also acknowledges that Milan has reportedly expressed interest in him, but he is “happy” to have joined Forest instead.

With just 14 minutes remaining, Chris Wood scored his second goal of the match by tipping a downward header past Thomas Kaminski, giving the Hatters hope.

“Life here is a bit different compared to Italy, but both my family and I are very happy here. If I have to be honest, I don’t miss Italy that much. We Argentinians are used to many cultures. Having said that, however, the adaptation to football was more difficult.”

When asked who would win in a clash between Forest and his former team, he laughed: “I don’t know. It will be tough, but I see that they are playing well.
