Following Jason Kelce’s shirtless antics, Travis Kelce shares what Taylor Swift really thought.
The Eagles player claims that during the Chiefs vs. Bills game, his wife Kylie Kelce had pleaded with him to behave himself.
Making an impression is something Jason Kelce is adept at. During Sunday’s Travis Kelce game, the adored Philadelphia Eagles centre stole the show by removing his jersey and drinking a beer while supporting the Kansas City Chiefs with Taylor Swift.
Jason and Travis had a lengthy conversation about the Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday’s episode of their New Heights podcast. They also touched on Jason’s eye-catching antics inside Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. Jason once said that he informed his wife Kylie Kelce, as a courtesy, of his intention to go nude. Since it would be the couple’s first time meeting Travis’s new girlfriend, he claims she persuaded him not to.
“She was already telling me to be on my best behaviour because we were meeting Taylor,” Jason recalls. “Her reaction was, ‘Don’t. Keep your behaviour under check. This adds to the attraction. I was like, “Kylie, the first day I met you, I was black-out drunk and fell asleep at the bar.” This adds to Jason Kelce’s allure. This is my finest opportunity to create the greatest first impression possible.”
Travis breaks down in tears upon hearing the admission and replies, “That s**t was classic.”
It seems that Jason’s strategy was successful.
“Oh, dude, okay,” says Travis. “Tay says she absolutely loved you.”
After spending the day tailgating with the Bills Mafia fan base and former Bills player Eric Wood, Jason had his viral moment.
“This is what transpired,” he says. “I wanted to go to the tailboard and take off my shirt. I didn’t get to take off my shirt there because we kind of had pushback on the tailgate front, but as soon as I stepped inside the box, I realised that I could jump out and be outside if I took off my shirt. after which I’m outdoors competing in the Buffalo Bills pageant.”
“Dude, it was something about the entire day,” he says. I became enmeshed in Bill’s Mafia’s magic. It’s true that it’s electric. The fervour, the antics. At some point, I feel like I have to take off my top.”
Travis makes light of the whole thing, saying it was “pure pandemonium” yet meaningful in the end.
“Everyone’s saying, ‘Put that thing in the Louvre,'” remarks Travis on the momentous portrait of Jason. To be honest, I could hire someone to create that f**king portrait. I didn’t even realise it till after the fact, but that was an incredible experience that I’ll never forget, guy.”
Jason acknowledges that he was excited to spend some time decompressing following a difficult conclusion to his own season last week.
“Listen, we just got done obviously with a very gruelling season in Philadelphia, mentally and physically,” he says. “This was a chance to really go somewhere and put all of that behind us. Go have fun and support your brother, please. Due to the Super Bowl and other events, I haven’t had the chance to attend one of your games in about two years. In addition to wanting to support you, I was eager to visit Buffalo and see the fabled Bills Mafia.”
Jason also continued to release viral hits. Along with making news for picking up a little Swift fan to greet the singer in the suite, the 36-year-old athlete’s 2-year-old daughter Elliotte provided humorous commentary on her dad’s outrageous behaviour. He posted a picture of a text message that Kylie’s mother had sent him, which wrote, “Ellie said ‘Dads boobs are showing,'” at the time.
Jason laughs and says, “Hey, snow’s out, t*ts out,” on New Heights.
Jason acknowledges, “We haven’t attended a lot of tailgates.” “But, really, dude, come on. With the Bills Mafia, the atmosphere was electrifying.”
Travis’ Chiefs will next play the Baltimore Ravens on January 28 in an attempt to advance to the NFL Super Bowl on February 11.
Swift is also up for six GRAMMY Awards on February 4, including Album of the Year for Midnights and Song of the Year and Record of the Year for its lead hit, “Anti-Hero.” After a two-month break, her Eras Tour will then return on February 7 to Tokyo, Japan, where she will perform four nights.
Swift’s Eras Tour is almost about to resume, and Kelce’s NFL season is almost up. A source recently told ET where the pair stands right now.
The insider stated, “Taylor and Travis are doing really well.” “They make an effort to be together as often as possible. Additionally, Travis goes out of his way to ensure that Taylor is at ease at his house. They are enthusiastic about the prospect of being a pair and have talked about it.”
According to the insider, “Right now, Travis is focused on Valentine’s Day and wants to do something fun and special for Taylor.”
