After the Villa Park Kalvin Phillips update, the Aston Villa transfer is now “possible.”

Journalist Ben Jacobs suggests to GIVEMESPORT that Aston Villa has already indicated interest in Kalvin Phillips of Manchester City as a possible replacement for the midfielder at Villa Park in 2024.

As of 2024, Aston Villa has a number of options for centre midfield, suggesting that it won’t be a top focus during the winter transfer window, which opens on January 1. Emery’s candidates for the middle of the park before the summer window opened in June included Boubacar Kamara, Leander Dendoncker, Douglas Luiz, Jacob Ramsey, John McGinn, and Tim Iroegbunam.

Youri Tielemans, a Belgian international who plays for Leicester City, was signed by Villa at the beginning of the transfer window.
