Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi scored the game’s first goal as Japan defeated Tunisia in a friendly.
The hosts’ recent 4-1 victory over Canada was followed by a triumph. Reo Hatate also made his debut for the Samurai Blue, who defeated them by a score of 2-0.
And just before halftime, Kyogo scored after making a quick rush in behind the defense’s custodian and calmly finishing by him.
In 21 appearances, he has scored five goals for his country. The video down below demonstrates the objective.
Brendan Rodgers of Celtic needs to do more to equal his predecessor.
Meanwhile,
Eltic assistantc has spoken out for the first time about the horrific tackle that ruined his career.
The 40-year-old was sidelined from football for three years after the injury he sustained on his Scotland debut against Romania in 2004.
Kennedy had previously received high praise for his performances under Martin O’Neill against Rangers and Barcelona.
He said: “I still remember it very clearly in terms of the actual game, speaking to the Celtic FC podcast.
When I saw the tackle, I remember thinking, “Something’s happened here.” When you sustain such a severe injury, you practically enter a state of shock.
“I distinctly recall telling the physio, ‘Just get me up,’ and they were hesitant. I can still picture me getting a little bit to my feet, and the moment I took my first step, my entire leg just crumpled.
“I initially believed my leg was fractured, telling the physiotherapist that my shin had snapped, and I later noticed that my leg had migrated to the outside.
“While we waited for the stretcher, I kept saying, “My shin has snapped, my shin has snapped. When I arrived at the hospital, the physicians were concerned, but they said they couldn’t do anything until the next day until they could see me for a scan.
Kennedy also discussed his use of his injury as a cautionary tale for aspiring athletes.
When you are young, especially when you are riding the crest of this wave and everything is going well, you feel untouchable, he added.
“It was a lesson in life that everything can fall apart at any time, and they did for me.
It’s something I occasionally still apply in my role as a coach. In my experience, you should never take what you have for granted.
“Make the most of everything since anything can change at any time. I made attempts to return and had brief successes throughout that time, but I was unable to reach the level I desired.
“I always found it difficult to maintain things. After the scan, the doctor remarked, “I have never seen anything like this.”
It was a terrible injury.
