This season, the international for the Czech Republic has already played in 10 games and logged more than 650 minutes on the field. Despite frequently playing as a defensive midfielder, Soucek has been in outstanding form and has already contributed to five goals.
Although he is a crucial member of Moyes’s squad, his deal expires in the summer of 2019. There is a choice to extend it another 12 months for the Hammers. However, they are eager to sign a brand-new contract with the 28-year-old.
