One of just two Premier League teams without a victory this year is Sheffield United, who will play Manchester United on Saturday. Casemiro might not travel to Bramall Lane with Erik ten Hag’s team.

In the first half of Brazil’s 1-1 tie with Venezuela on Friday, the pivotal midfielder sustained an ankle injury. In the dying minutes of the game, Casemiro requested a substitution.

Fernando Diniz, the head coach of Brazil, said to Globo Esporte after the draw: “As there was a stop (in play), I decided to make the three substitutes. When they turned on, we had a lot of control. Due to a blow to his ankle, Casemiro wanted to be removed.

The Red Devils now hold the tenth spot after winning four of their first eight games.
