NEWS NOW: After the blowout, Lions star Aidan Hutchinson criticises the…
The standout player for the Detroit Lions, Aidan Hutchinson, will not be receiving his comeuppance this playoffs from the Dallas Cowboys.
The Lions advanced to the divisional stage after defeating the Los Angeles Rams 24-23 in their Wild Card game. However, the Cowboys failed to fulfil their obligation. The No. 7-seeded Green Bay Packers crushed Dallas, 48-32.
The Lions will play another home game now that Dallas is not an option. They are waiting for the outcome of the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on Monday.
Although Hutchinson seems like he would have rather taken a shot at the Cowboys, he will take it.
Hutchinson said, “I think we all wanted Dallas again, but it’s a blessing that we’re back here again next week.”
After a contentious Week 17 defeat, Hutchinson and the Lions wanted a rematch with the Cowboys. With just 30 seconds remaining, Detroit scored a touchdown and led with a later-called 2-point conversion play. Cowboys victory, 20-19.
After the defeat, Hutchinson spoke out, declaring, “Screw it.” That’s sort of my mindset—I’d rather defeat them in the playoffs anyway.
Cowboys’ loss against the Packers stunned Dak Prescott.

The Cowboys’ shocking Wild Card defeat to the Packers took a toll on Dak Prescott.
The Cowboys were crushed by a Packers club that started the meeting as a 7.5-point underdog. The high-flying Cowboys offence, which averaged an NFL-high 30.1 points per game, appeared out of sync for the most of the game, and the Dallas defence had no answers for Jordan Love and company.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott completed his throw attempt with 403 yards, two interceptions, and three touchdowns. But that stat line is a touch misleading, with the bulk of his output coming with the game out of reach. The Packers turned Prescott’s two interceptions, including a pick-six, into 14 points.
During the regular season, Prescott had an MVP-caliber performance, throwing for 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. However, despite the Cowboys’ unexpected early elimination from the playoffs after a 12-5 regular season, none of that was significant.
Prescott said, “I’m not a guy who lives in the past.” “I just sucked tonight, no more of it. Even though I started it a little late, it didn’t matter at that point. I actually just truly know how to fall.”

Following the team’s first-round elimination, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy is under fire.
After the setback, the Cowboys will need to consider making some big adjustments. That may involve Mike McCarthy’s future as head coach. Despite having a stellar regular season record of 42-25, he has only led the Cowboys to one postseason victory.
After the defeat, McCarthy was reluctant to discuss the rumours circulating regarding his job security.
McCarthy said, “I think the biggest thing is that we’re disappointed.” “Everyone on my team is suffering in the locker room. I haven’t given this game’s conclusion any consideration.
Prescott defended his head coach, arguing that given the unbalanced result, he should also be under pressure.
Prescott said, “He’s been amazing.” “I understand the business; I’m not sure how there can be [questions about his job].” If so, to be really honest, it ought to be about me too. It was because of that man that I’ve had this season. He is the reason this squad has been successful. I am aware that the main goal is to win the Super Bowl, and that ought to be the norm in this area as well as the league. I understand, but if so, please include me on the list.
