Fulham guy defended following remarks: “Healthy personality,” merits praise rather than criticism

After speaking about Courtois in a news conference this week amid the ongoing conflict between the Real Madrid goalkeeper and Belgium coach Domenico Tedesco, Castagne has come under fire.
Courtois quit the team in June after objecting to playing in a European qualifying match against Estonia. The two have had a very public falling out over Courtois’ decision to be the captain of Belgium.Since then, the two have not spoken, and there is already a heated discussion over what lies next, particularly in light of Belgium’s prospective participation in the Euros next year.
The Real Madrid player is currently sidelined with a cruciate ligament rupture but is anticipated to make a full recovery in March, which would put him in contention to join Domenic Tedesco’s team.
Castagne of Fulham was asked that subject this week, and he franky acknowledged that it would be odd for the goalkeeper to simply come back as if nothing had happened.
Some people criticized him as a result, but Albert has defended him and insisted that what he stated was accurate.
“I carefully studied Castagne’s interview with you. The lengthy chapter on Courtois was honest, which fits Timothy’s positive nature nicely, he stated in Le Soir.
“I’m only making an observation; I have no wish to hurt anyone. The Fulham player didn’t take on the role of spokesperson; he merely voiced out what the group was likely privately contemplating.
“Thibaut’s behavior is not normal, and his status as the finest goalkeeper in the world does not matter in my view, if we still need to make things clear regarding Courtois’ flight following Belgium-Austria.
He must have the humility to admit that he was not up to the task.
“No coach in the world can allow anything like this to happen, regardless of the level at which his team competes.
“We obviously had to give Castagne extensive background information before to his appearance at a news conference on Tuesday at noon, but I stand by my position that he has no justifications to make to Courtois for having told the truth. The exact opposite should occur.
