Rajon Rondo, a two-time NBA champion, claims Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade intentionally wounded him in Game 3 of the Heat-Boston Celtics Eastern Conference Semifinals in 2011.

After Wade pulled Rondo to the floor in the third quarter, he dislocated his non-shooting elbow.

Rondo returned to the game after suffering an injury. He ended with six points, three rebounds, and 11 assists in 35 minutes, assisting the Celtics to a 97-81 victory over the Heat. Miami, on the other hand, won the series 4-1 to go to the 2011 Eastern Conference Finals.

When Rondo was with the Celtics and Wade was with the Heat, they had a strong rivalry. When they were teammates on the Chicago Bulls in 2016-17, the two NBA luminaries reportedly reconciled.

It was weird to see Rondo and Wade as teammates because they had many scuffles during their primes with the Celtics and Heat, but they only played together for one season.

The Bulls finished 41-41 in 2016-17, losing in six games to the Celtics in the first round of the 2017 playoffs. Wade was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017-18, while Rondo was a member of the New Orleans Pelicans.

Rondo concluded his career with the Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Bulls, Pelicans, Los Angeles Lakers, Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Clippers, and Cavaliers, averaging 9.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.1 blocks. He was named to four All-Star teams, one NBA All-Star team, and four All-Defensive teams.

Rondo also won one title for steals and three for assists.

Meanwhile, Wade is widely recognized as the NBA’s third-best shooting guard, trailing only Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. With the Heat, Bulls, and Cavaliers, the Hall of Famer averaged 22.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.8 blocks a game. Wade was named to 13 All-Star teams, eight All-NBA teams, and three All-Defensive teams during his career.

The three-time winner was also named Finals MVP, scoring champion, and All-Star Game MVP.
