DATE SET FOR LIVERPOOL VS FA CUP SHOWDOWN CONFIRMED.
Sunday, January 7, at 4.30 p.m., is Arsenal vs. Liverpool in the FA Cup third round at Emirates Stadium. The BBC will broadcast the game in the UK.
Despite the unfavorable draw for the Gunners, the match is at least scheduled at a reasonably convenient time.
After the New Year’s Eve match at Fulham, the Gunners will have a week to get ready for the Reds’ visit. They will then have 13 days off for a “winter break” before taking on Crystal Palace on January 20.
We currently have three games against Liverpool scheduled over 43 days. On December 23, we play our league match at Anfield, and on February 3, Jurgen Klopp’s team will return to the Emirates.
If our FA Cup match needs to be replayed, then a fourth game (at Anfield) will probably be crammed in as well. Hopefully, that isn’t the case.
