Regarding Aaron Jones, the running back for the Green Bay Packers, it appears that the worst of the injuries may have been avoided. Jones hurt his knee late in the second quarter of the team’s Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, and the tailback was carted to the locker room.
The Packers first labeled Jones as questionable until officially designating him as out in the second half. Following the game, Packers head coach indicated that the team does not fear a long term injury with Jones and that the tailback is “in good spirits”
Towards the end of the first half, running back Emanuel Wilson met a similar end just moments after Jones, making him not the only Packer tailback to be carted.
In the game before he was injured, Jones had four rush attempts for 14 yards. Through six games this 2023 season, he has gained 231 yards and two touchdowns. Throughout his seven-year career, he has surpassed 1,000 yards three times and scored 45 touchdowns overall, thus this performance is not indicative of his background.
A.J. Dillon will be the only player left for Green Bay in the position group if Jones and Wilson are sidelined for the remainder of the contest.
Green Bay moved to 4-6 on the season with a 23–20 victory over the Chargers. In the NFC North, the Packers are presently ranked third.

Minnesota traded for Josh Dobbs two days following Cousins’ injury, and he has since led the team to two consecutive victories. The Vikings now stand at 6-4 and have a better than 87% chance to make the playoffs, per ESPN’s Football Power Index.
In an effort to get a multiyear agreement with the Vikings throughout the summer, Cousins has often stated his desire to end his career in Minnesota.

General manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah rejected the QB’s representative’s summertime offer of an undisclosed “discount” in exchange for additional years on a new contract. Two offseasons ago, Minnesota gave Cousins an extension on a one-year deal that will pay him $35 million in total in 2023.
