Breaking News: The Golden State Warriors Got Some Devastating News…

NBA Rumors: Bad news for Stephen Curry, Warriors as key target will not join Golden State

Curry will not be getting the reinforcement he was expecting for with the Warriors.

The historic Big 3 are no longer with the Golden State Warriors due to Klay Thompson’s departure. This season, star players Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will be without one of their greatest assets—a player they won several titles with and who has chosen to stay with the Dallas Mavericks to further his career.

The Golden State Warriors’ poor tenth-place result from the previous season was definitely a setback for the Californian team, which will now try to bounce back and take the lead once again.

Stephen Curry #30 of the Golden State Warriors looks on during a game against the Orlando Magic at Kia Center on March 27, 2024 in Orlando, Florida.

Adding more great players to a squad that consists primarily of young players who have not yet made a name for themselves in the NBA would be essential to helping them regain their former glory.

This offseason, the Warriors’ management had a number of players on their radar to bolster the squad, with one guy in particular who they were eager to chase. It has now come to light, though, that this athlete will not be moving to the Bay Area because he recently inked a substantial contract deal with his current squad.

It is none other than Lauri Markkanen, the player in question. The Finnish player will play for the Utah Jazz for a couple more years after accepting a lucrative contract extension. Golden State will therefore need to search elsewhere for their best choice for reinforcement.Curry, though, has communicated to the Warriors front office his desire to not be the final decision-maker when it comes to roster selections.
