Texas A\&M has secured a significant commitment for its 2026 recruiting class with the addition of four-star wide receiver Mike Brown. The 5’11”, 175-pound prospect from Houston Legacy School of Sport Sciences is the son of former Aggie linebacker Reggie Brown, who played for Texas A\&M in the 1990s. His commitment strengthens the Aggies’ recruiting efforts and keeps a top talent in-state.

Brown’s decision to commit to Texas A\&M came after careful consideration and prayer. He expressed that his choice was guided by faith and a sense of purpose, stating, “I’m confident I know I’m walking in with purpose—not pressure. Texas A\&M is the place he placed in my heart.”

Prior to his commitment, Brown had received over 40 scholarship offers from prestigious programs such as Alabama, Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, and Oklahoma. His decision to choose Texas A\&M over these programs highlights the Aggies’ strong recruiting efforts and the appeal of their program.

With Brown’s commitment, Texas A\&M now has eight pledges in its 2026 class, which currently ranks sixth nationally on the Composite. His addition bolsters the Aggies’ receiving corps and adds depth to their offensive lineup.

Brown’s commitment is a testament to Texas A\&M’s continued success in recruiting top-tier talent and maintaining strong connections with in-state prospects. His decision to join the Aggies reflects the program’s growing prominence and the lasting impact of its legacy.
