BAD NEWS: Josh Allen will miss their most critical game of the NFL season…..

Josh Allen will miss their most critical game of the NFL season.….

Joshua Allen, Trevor Lawrence NFL Injury Reports and Fantasy Impact for Week 18

Josh Allen will not miss the Buffalo Bills’ most critical game of the NFL season. Allen has been a full participant in practice this week despite neck and finger ailments ahead of the Bills’ game against the Miami Dolphins. Trevor Lawrence, quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, is not faring well.

Lawrence is labelled as questionable for Jacksonville’s win-and-in game against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday. Lawrence missed the Jaguars’ Week 17 victory over the Carolina Panthers, and his presence would at least help ease some anxieties so the Jags could clinch a postseason spot.

Absences that could impact any remaining fantasy football championship games in Week 18.

Josh Allen Will Play With AFC East Title on the Line

Allen will play on Sunday despite not being at full strength. The Bills quarterback is nursing neck and finger issues, but he was a full participant in practice this week. Allen and the Bills need a win to clinch their playoff position and the AFC East title.

A loss on Sunday night puts the Bills’ postseason hopes at risk, depending on what happens in the AFC on Saturday and Sunday. Allen had 320 passing yards and five total touchdowns against the Dolphins in the Bills’ Week 4 home victory over their AFC East opponent. Because of the Dolphins’ injuries, Allen may have a better chance against them on Sunday.

The Dolphins lost edge rusher Bradley Chubb to a ruptured ACL last week and have been without linebacker Jaelan Phillips for several weeks. Allen might use his legs to exploit the middle of the Miami defence, and simply having him start on Sunday makes him one of the best fantasy football quarterback possibilities.

Lamar Jackson, Brock Purdy, and a few other NFL starters will be out for various reasons, so if you have Allen in a Week 18 championship game, count yourself lucky.

Trevor Lawrence To Be Listed As Questionable.

Lawrence’s availability on Sunday is in doubt. The Jaguars quarterback will most likely be a game-time decision in the AFC South clash against the Titans. The Jaguars didn’t miss Lawrence at all in their Week 17 game against the Panthers. C.J. Beathard led the Jaguars to a 26-0 win. Week 18 brings a different scenario, as the Titans will attempt to destroy Jacksonville’s postseason aspirations with a victory.

With a win, Jacksonville secures the AFC South title. It advances to the playoffs with losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos, as well as if the Indianapolis-Houston game does not end in a tie. The Jaguars defeated the Titans 34-14 in Week 11, but it was with a healthy Lawrence and Christian Kirk on the field. Beathard is not an ideal fantasy football alternative for Lawrence, but there aren’t many reserve quarterbacks who will play in Week 18. The biggest fantasy impact of a potential Lawrence absence will be felt by Jacksonville’s pass catchers, particularly Calvin Ridley and Evan Engram. This season, the Titans defence has allowed only one 300-yard passing game.
