In November 2023, Prescott and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, confirmed that she was pregnant. Bethel Zehaie, Shores’ attorney, told NBC DFW that her client is alleging Prescott of sexually assaulting her outside XTC Cabaret in Dallas in 2017, following Prescott’s rookie season.
Outside the XTC Cabaret in Dallas. According to Zehaie, Shores, a 28-year-old Fort Worth resident, did not work at the club and did not submit a police complaint when the event occurred. Shores’ lawyers said in a statement that they stand by her allegations.
Prescott’s attorneys revealed in the case an email, which they call to as a “extortionary letter,” addressed to the Cowboys quarterback on January 16, 2024, that included charges that he sexually abused Shores on February 2, 2017. Prescott’s lawyers claim the email was “bizarrely” sent to a third party at Mississippi State University, where Prescott played football.
