Doha a global destination for world snooker and billiards championships: Al-Ramzani

Doha: With the start of the IBSF World Snooker (Men, Women & Masters) and English Billiards Championships – Doha 2023 last Sunday, Mohamed al-Ramzani, President of the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation (QBSF), stated that Doha has evolved into a hub for international and continental billiards and snooker championships.
Starting on November 5 and running through November 24, the IBSF Worlds – Doha 2023 will take place at the La Maison Hotel in Bin Mahmoud.
As of right now, Qatar has held nine consecutive world championships, demonstrating its prowess as a host nation and its standing as a top international sports destination, according to al-Ramzani.
He claimed that with the federation’s ongoing cooperation with the QBSF, all the necessary arrangements were made for the nine world championships in snooker and English billiards to be successful.
