With the Dragons said to be making an unexpected move for Penrith winger Sunia Turuva, Shane Flanagan is hoping to make some major changes in the NRL player market. Mitchell Moses will undergo surgery for a broken foot, in a major blow for Parramatta, while the Titans have lost their captain Tino Fa’asuamaleaui for the season after he suffered an ACL injury.

Nathan Cleary remains on the sidelines, but Cameron Munster is finally set to return from a troublesome groin injury.

Elsewhere, James Fisher-Harris is back on deck, while the Bunnies and Broncos have been hit with multiple injury blows and a Warriors playmaker suffered a potentially serious, long-term injury.

The 2024 NRL season is underway with a host of injuries to key players rocking the competition in the early rounds.
