In the NBA 2K23 Summer League on Thursday afternoon at the Thomas and Mack Centre in Las Vegas, the Boston Celtics defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 108-91 thanks in large part to a dynamic scoring display from rookie second-round selection JD Davison.

Playing effectively from the start on both sides of the court, the Celtics took a 24-16 advantage at the half. Brodric Thomas furnished 13 points, five boards, three assists and one steal. Trevion Williams generated an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double that included three assists and one steal.
