Mock draft season is getting hotter as the 2024 NFL Draft approaches.
The most recent to enter the fray is ESPN’s Matt Miller, an NFL Draft expert who just unveiled a comprehensive seven-round mock draft that projects all 257 selections.

No one in this class is a better pure passer from the pocket than Penix, despite the fact that he struggles while moving and has certain flaws with his lower-body mechanics, according to Miller. “He could eat up defences if the Giants can keep him safe. Although coach Brian Daboll tends to prefer Penix’s mobility, his arm strength and accuracy are “wow” qualities. And now that Daniel Jones is back from an ACL tear, New York could use more choices under centre.”
Penix’s collegiate career began slowly at Indiana, but during his final two seasons at Washington, he blossomed. After throwing for 2 yards in 2022, the 6-foot-2, 216-pound quarterback was voted AP Comeback Player of the Year and second-team All-Pac-12.
Lloyd began his collegiate career at South Carolina, where he rushed for 10 touchdowns and 801 yards on 175 carries (4.6 avg.) across 21 games, adding 21 receptions for 220 yards and two additional scores. The 5-foot-9, 220-pound back then transferred to USC this past year and gained 820 yards on 116 carries, good for an impressive average of 7.1 yards per carry, to go with nine touchdowns. Lloyd also caught 13 passes for 232 yards.
