In an overtime victory over the Boston Celtics, the point guard for the Atlanta Hawks scored a career-high 44 points, including the game-winning shot with almost no time remaining.
Despite his poor field goal percentage (18–44), he scored all 11 of Atlanta’s points in overtime and outscored the Celtics on his own after the fourth quarter. Murray also contributed two steals, seven assists, and seven rebounds.
In addition, De’Andre Hunter concluded with a double-double, scoring 21 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, while Bogdan Bogdanović added 24 points of his own.

The win represented the Hawks’ second consecutive victory over the Celtics, as Atlanta also defeated Boston by the final score of 120-118 on Monday. During the game, Murray scored 19 points while dishing out a season-high 15 assists.
The Hawks moved to 34-39 and are in the midst of a four-game win streak. They currently sit one game behind the Chicago Bulls for the No. 9 seed in the East.
