Born Enes Kanter on May 20, 1992[3], Enes Kanter Freedom is an American former professional basketball player and political activist. He last played for the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s Boston Celtics. In his brief stint as a professional wrestler, he held the title of WWE 24/7 Champion. His parents are Turkish, and he was born in Switzerland, raised in Turkey, and then immigrated to the US as a youngster. The Utah Jazz chose Freedom with the third overall choice in the 2011 NBA draft. For eleven years, Freedom, a centre, was a member of five NBA teams.
