The 13-year relationship between Nia Long and Ime Udoka is over, according to reports, following the Boston Celtics coach’s extramarital affair with a team member.

Less than three months have passed since the Boston Celtics suspended Udoka for the whole 2022–2023 season for breaking team policy. Long described the public scandal as “devastating.”

Udoka had an improper relationship with the Celtics’ travel coordinator, who was in charge of arranging for Long to relocate permanently to Boston as well as her flights to attend home and away games, as TMZ Sports previously revealed.

People claims that the two parties have called it quits on their relationship and are now concentrating on co-parenting their 11-year-old son, Kez, indicating that the repercussions was evidently too much to handle.

Long recently sounded off on the Celtics for airing out their dirty laundry … saying, “I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public.”

Udoka remains suspended from the Celtics … but was rumored to be Steve Nash‘s replacement at the head of the Brooklyn Nets bench. The team ultimately decided to go with Jacque Vaughn.

Although Nia Long hasn’t spoken much about her partner’s infidelity scandal, her accessories and body language certainly indicate.

When a photographer approached the actress on Saturday in Los Angeles, where she made her public debut alongside her son Kez, the question of how she felt about Celtics centre Ime Udoka’s adulterous affair with a staff member was evident.

She stayed mostly silent, saying she didn’t want to comment — but when asked if she’s working things out with Ime, watch how she reacts … it’s telling. Since the news broke of her fiancé’s infidelity, she’s kept a low profile — and hasn’t been seen publicly until now.

Also of note … it doesn’t look like Nia’s wearing her engagement ring, although she doesn’t always rock it when out and about. Still, at a time like this — it seems important.
