Breaking: Raiders star player arrested for DUI after causing more trouble….

Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Charles Snowden faces a first-offense misdemeanor charge.

The Las Vegas Raiders received unsettling news on Tuesday.

According to KLAS 8 News Now, defensive end Charles Snowden was arrested and charged with a first-offense misdemeanor for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled or prohibited substance, per Nevada Justice Court records.

Reports indicate that Snowden was not required to appear in court after the arrest, nor was he subjected to bond, a probable cause hearing, or a scheduled arraignment. ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez added that a status check has been scheduled for April, though the court record does not list an attorney representing Snowden.

The Raiders issued a brief statement:
“The Raiders are aware of the incident involving Charles Snowden and have been in contact with the NFL and local authorities. The club will not comment further as this is a legal matter.”

Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 245 pounds, Snowden entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia in 2021. He played two games with the Chicago Bears before joining the Raiders, where he impressed during the 2024 preseason.

Due to injuries on defense, Snowden earned playing time in 13 games for the Raiders this season, including seven starts. He recorded 30 tackles (13 solo), three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, six quarterback hits, and three passes defended.

As the Raiders prepare to face the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football, Snowden is listed as a starting defensive end on the team’s unofficial depth chart.
