Good News: Kansas State Wildcats Officially Announced The Signing Of Another Top Experienced Superstar

The Wildcats have committed 2025-edge Dalton Knapp to play collegiate football, the player revealed on Thursday after making an official visit to Manhattan.

One of the Top 100 composite players at his position in the recruiting cycle right now, the 6-foot-4, 225-pound playmaker from Fort Worth, Texas, provides exceptional acceleration off the edge. For his 7.33-cone “L-Drill” at the Under Armour Next Camp in Dallas this March, he remains one of the nation’s best linemen.

After a wonderful weekend in New York, even though Kansas, Boise State, and the Wildcats were chasing him hard, Knapp made the decision to toss out his June calendar and cancel all further trips.

Knapp told GPC earlier this week, “The experience was great,” after returning home. “It’s true that K-State raised the bar for me.”

In our visit recap, the most recent commit indicated that he was a positional fit for both Buddy Wyatt and Joe Klanderman.

The Fort Worth athlete stated, “They started running the defense a little different during spring camp by using guys like me who can rush the passer and play in coverage a little bit.” “They observe me assuming the role of ‘Buck,’ and I fit right in with that plan.”

The defender follows in the footsteps of former All Saints prospects who chose K-State, such as Knapp’s current assistant coach, Kendall Adams, who returned to his alma mater after a brief stint on the Jackson State University staff. The defender becomes the sixth commitment of the 2025 class and the third among last weekend’s guests, joining Martel.
