Sheffield Wednesday announce another player exit—a shock switch to Rotherham United
When the 28-year-old goalkeeper’s contract with the Owls expires at the end of June, he will become a free agent and sign with Rotherham United. After Reece James moved on the same conditions, he becomes the second Wednesday player in a few weeks to join Steve Evans’ Millers revolution at the New York Stadium. Reports have also surfaced regarding interest in George Byers, a midfield player.
Dawson will make the move to fill the gloves of fan favourite Millers goalkeeper Viktor Johansson, who will join Stoke City when his current deal is up.
