Good News: Just In Toronto Raptors Sign Another Top Talented NBA Superstar Player

Jamison Battle is an NBA member in an official capacity.

After offering former Ohio State forward Battle the opportunity to play for their NBA Summer League team, the Toronto Raptors signed him to an NBA contract on Tuesday.
Battle earned a deal with the Raptors following his 23-point performance in the team’s first two Summer League games.

In just 14:38 of action, he scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting, grabbed one rebound, and dished out one assist as the Raptors made their Summer League debut, defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 94-69. Sunday’s second Summer League game saw the Raptors defeat the Denver Nuggets 84-81 behind a strong performance by Battle. He finished with a team-high plus-minus of 16, one rebound, one assist, and 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting.

Battle’s contract with the Raptors is an exhibit 10 agreement, according to Blake Murphy of Sportsnet. It has a one-year minimum and a bonus of up to $75,000 if Battle is released and signs with the Raptors 905, Toronto’s NBA G League franchise.
With 15.3 points per game and a 43.3% field goal percentage in his lone season at Ohio State, Battle earned his NBA opportunity. The native of Minnesota began his collegiate career as a student at George Washington, where he participated for two years before moving to the Golden Gophers to complete his eligibility as an Ohio State University Buckeye.
