Michael Callahan signs a one-year, two-way deal with the Boston Bruins
In preparation for the 2024–25 NHL season, the Boston Bruins have strengthened their blue line.
Don Sweeney, general manager of the Boston Bruins, announced on Friday that defenseman Michael Callahan has agreed to a one-year, two-way deal. His cap hit will be $775,000.
The 24-year-old Callahan scored four goals and had thirteen assists in 70 games for the Providence Bruins in the 2023–24 campaign. The blueliner has played 140 games in the AHL with Providence, where he has six goals and 21 assists in that time.
The Arizona Coyotes chose the native of Massachusetts in the fifth round of the 2018 NHL Draft (142nd overall).
