ESPN REPORT: The WNBA All-Star Vote results have resolved the Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese debate.

A significant discussion during the 2024 WNBA season has included Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark: Which rookie is better? Clark and Reese were selected for the 2024 WNBA All-Star game because of their outstanding starts to their WNBA careers.

But the final fan vote total was revealed along with the All-Star rosters. These outcomes put an end to this argument for the time being.

With 700,735 votes, former Iowa Hawkeyes player Clark won the most votes for an All-Star in the WNBA. With 618,680 votes, Clark’s Fever teammate Aliyah Boston came in second.

Reese received 381,518 votes, placing him sixth. In 2024, Clark almost equaled Reese’s final total, earning the title of best WNBA rookie.

Despite Clark’s far higher number of votes, Reese’s first-season performance has been unprecedented. The former LSU Tigers standout set a record for the most double-doubles in a single season in WNBA history with 11 straight.

Clark has also made history in her rookie season. She became the fastest player to reach 300 points, 100 rebounds and 100 assists to start a WNBA career.

This season, Clark and Reese have faced off three times, with Clark coming out on top two times and Reese once. This simply puts an end to the Clark v. Reese argument.
