Fever coach reveals Caitlin Clark's fiery message after Team USA snub

After the unveiling of the Team USA roster, Christie Sides, the coach of the Fever, was questioned regarding her interactions with Clark.

“We had a conversation on the bus,” Sides said to the press. “She texted me to let me know that she received the call [from Team USA] when we were on the bus. “Hey coach, they woke a monster,” she exclaimed.

Clark was left off the squad by Team USA for allegedly ludicrous reasons.

Nonetheless, Sides and Clark agreed that there is a significant benefit to the omission. After an exhausting run of relentless basketball, Fever star Clark will have a full month off.

A week after leading Iowa to the NCAA championship game in early April, Clark received a WNBA draft selection. Throughout her debut season, Clark has also been under fire from a few of her WNBA colleagues.
