Josh Giddey nearly breaks down in tears during an interview after being asked about……..

The young Oklahoma City Thunder player has been through a lot this season, but he still had a very pleasant year.

Joel Giddey has been through a lot during the current NBA season, particularly with the scandal surrounding his suspected relationship with an underage high school student. According to the reports, the authorities withdrew the case once they made a determination.

Ultimately, the allegations were judged to be false.

He was allowed to continue his season. But having his name tarnished in such a public way is something he may have to live with for the rest of his life, regardless of whether he was proven guilty or not. During the social media frenzy, shaking off claims like that has become nearly hard, regardless of the facts to the contrary. Giddey did his best to continue assisting his teammates, but he nearly broke down after being eliminated against the Dallas Mavericks.

Josh Giddey holds back emotions after a challenging season.

The video that is currently going viral following the Oklahoma City Thunder’s elimination is a chat Josh Giddey had with a reporter during which he was asked about the current season’s difficulty. Josh has been jeered and booed in every arena he has visited this season, including those from his own fan base at first. This is what Josh stated:

This was certainly the most difficult issue I’ve ever faced, for a variety of obvious reasons. I believe that (coping) mentally is the most underestimated aspect of any player’s performance. It’s so easy for people to see what occurs on the court but miss what happens behind the scenes, and there’s so much more to a person than basketball. Hats are for everybody, not just myself.”

He went on to say, “You have a couple of terrible games, you start to get into your own head, you could lose confidence – whatever the situation may be. But for me, I’ve simply tried to be as close to the squad as possible this year, and that has shown to be the most effective strategy for me. When you come in every day, you become a part of the team and stay within it, which is what motivates the boys and puts them back on track.I consider myself extremely fortunate to be surrounded by supportive individuals. They genuinely care and support you, and there have been some difficult days and stretches this year. It is not a secret. But I simply wanted to come in every day and do my best as a teammate.”
