star running back Kyren Williams underwent surgery to repair a broken hand he suffered in the team’s 24-23 Wild Card round loss to the Lions on Sunday night.
The injury occurred midway through the third quarter after Williams had attempted to come back from a separate injury on the drive prior.
Williams was a revelation for the Rams this season, rushing 228 times for 1,144 yards and 12 touchdowns, and hauling in 32 catches for 206 yards and three more scores in just 12 games.
