SO SAD: Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla explained why he will no longer continue with the team…

The Boston Celtics and Portland Trail Blazers will conclude their regular-season series on Sunday night at TD Garden. In the Pacific Northwest, the former side prevailed 121–99 in their match.

The C’s had defeated the Sacramento Kings 101-100 on Friday, mostly because of Xavier Tillman Sr.’s game-winning jumper from the middle of the paint. The team is coming into Sunday’s rematch having won 12 straight games on their court.

It helps that Jaylen Brown will be in the lineup as they try to extend that streak to thirteen. The two-time All-Star’s left-hand sprain originally put him on the questionable list, and he did not play on Friday.

Though the native of Marietta, Georgia, is fit for Sunday’s game, Boston has ruled out Jayson Tatum due to a bruise in his right knee. In 33 minutes during the win over Sacramento, the two-time All-NBA First Team member finished with 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists.

The Trail Blazers’ game on Sunday will feature Jaden Springer, who has missed five consecutive games because of tendinopathy in his left knee.

The starting lineup for the Celtics will be Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, Al Horford, and Kristaps Porzingis.

Portland will start the game with Scoot Henderson, Rayan Rupert, Jabari Walker, Kris Murray, and Deandre Ayton. Portland is missing Jerami Grant and former Celtic Robert Williams, who had surgery in November to repair a torn ligament in his right knee, as well as Malcolm Brogdon, who has right elbow tendinitis.
