Mulkey is the LSU coach right now. Gafford remarked, “It’s really hard for me to put into words.” The girls’ progression is astounding in everything they perform on the floor. Former NBL player Adam Caporn, the player responsible for starting the ‘aussie pipeline’ at St Mary’s University of California which saw Patty Mills, Daniel Kickert, Matthew Dellavedova, Jock Landale and many others develop their games there, will assist NBA legend Steve Nash at the Brooklyn Nets this season.
This season, NBA legend Steve Nash will receive assistance from former NBL player Adam Caporn, who was instrumental in establishing the “aussie pipeline” at St. Mary’s University of California, where players such as Patty Mills, Daniel Kickert, Matthew Dellavedova, Jock Landale, and many others developed their careers. Caporn, who led Brooklyn’s NBA G League club, the Long Island Nets, last season, now becomes a member of Nash’s staff. There, with an 18-15 overall record, he guided the team to its second postseason appearance in franchise history. Nash praised him all season long, attributing the team’s rookie players’ growth to him. After Long Island finished the month with an 8-2 record, Caporn was named NBA G League Coach of the Month in February.
Caporn joins Nash’s staff after serving as head coach of the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn’s NBA G League affiliate, last season. There he led the team to its second playoff berth in franchise history (with an 18-15 overall record) and gained praise from Nash throughout last season, crediting him for the development of the team’s rookie players. Caporn earned NBA G League Coach of the Month honours in February after Long Island went 8-2 for the month.
