BREAKING :Zаcһ Wіlson Trаde Rumors: ‘Sense’ іs Jets Must Add Pіck, Eаt Sаlаry to Entіce Teаm,,,…..

Pass rusher Haason Reddick was acquired by the Jets from the Eagles. A conditional third-round pick in 2026 was delivered by Jets general manager Joe Douglas. This pick becomes a second-round pick if Reddick plays 67.5% of the snaps and records at least 10 sacks this season. Reddick (6-1, 240) recently finished his Eagles career with 11 sacks, 38 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 23 quarterback hits. During his two seasons in Philadelphia, he was selected to the Pro Bowl each time, and in 2022, he had the most forced fumbles in the league with five. He spent four seasons with Arizona after being selected by the Cardinals with the 13th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Reddick was raised ten miles away in Haddon Heights, New Jersey.

Reddick has amassed 51 sacks over the last four seasons, which is fourth most in the NFL behind Pittsburgh’s T.J. Watt (62), Cincinnati’s Trey Hendrickson (53), and Cleveland’s Myles Garrett (58). In the last ten seasons, Reddick is one of seven NFL defenders who had at least four seasons with ten or more sacks. The only guys with streaks right now are he and Garrett (Garrett has six straight seasons). Von Miller, Chandler Jones, Aaron Donald (a former DT for the Rams who announced his retirement earlier this month), and Watt and Khalil Mack all had streaks of at least 10 sacks spanning five seasons.

Reddick is tied for the fourth-longest sack streak among ‘backers since sacks became official in 1982. He could move into a third-place tie with Miller if he hits double digits this season with the Green & White.

Reddick is the third new addition to the defensive line (DT Javon Kinlaw, DT Leki Fotu) and the first pass rusher. The move comes shortly after free agent pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney, who visited with the Jets last week, signed with the Panthers.
